The Art Program welcome you to the World Bank collection online!

Located at the headquarters in Washington, D.C., the World Bank art collection holds over 6,000 original works of art gathered since the 1960s: paintings, prints, drawings, sculpture, photographs, decorative and multimedia objects.

Featuring mostly 20th and 21st century art, the collection is global in scope. Since the mid-2000s, its focus have been on emerging and mid-career artists from the WBG member countries. Telling stories of art and development, representing an exceptionally broad geographic spectrum of contemporary creative expression and integrated in architecture and workplace, art at the World Bank aims to promote the institution's values, create dialogue and inspire.
