He started his studies of sculpture in 1933 at the School of Arts and Trades; studied at the Academy of Fine Arts - Bucharest, Romania, under Professor C. Medrea.

His activity consists in works of monumental sculpture, statuary groups, bronze and marble busts of many writers, poets, scientists, actors, placed in parks, public gardens, institutes, theatres and museums in Romania and abroad.

Numerous works are in private and state collections in Romania, Italy, Canada, Yugoslavia, Denmark, Netherland, France, Germany, Japan, Greece, USA and South America, etc.
