Michael Heindorff

Born in Germany in 1949, Heindorff attended the Art College and University of Braunschweig (1970-74), Meisterschuler, (1974) and The Royal College of Art, London (1975-77). In addition to countless group exhibitions, Michael Heindorff's solo exhibitions have included shows at the Galerie Axiom, Cologne (1977), Bernard Jacobson Gallery, London (1978, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1992), Bernard Jacobson Gallery, New York, Middendorf-Lane, Washington, Stadia Graphics, Sydney (1983), Bernard Jacobson Gallery, Los Angeles (1981, 1982, 1984), Jacobson/Hochman Gallery, New York (1981, 1982), Mathildenhoehe, Darmstadt, Germany (1983), Villa Massimo, Rome (1984), Northern Centre for Contemporary Art, Sunderland (1987), Bradford Print Biennale, touring Great Britain (1988), Royal College of Art, London, Druckgraphik Katelhon, Wamel, Germany (1992), Victoria and Albert Museum, London (1993), Royal College of Art, London, Galerie Wolfhard Viertel, Franfurt (1995, 1996) Marlborough Fine Art Gallery, London and Gilded Iguana, Nosara, Costa Rica (1996). He lives, works and exhibits in London and Berlin.
