Henryk Tomaszewski

Graduated from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, specializing in commercial art, satirical aillustration and stage design. Was appointed professor at the Warsaw Academy where he became bhghly influential . winner of five gold medals, International Film Poster Exhibition - Vienna 1984; First Prize winner at the 7th biennale of Sao Paolo; Gold medal winner, Internationale Buchkunst Ausstellung, Leipzig 1965; Gold Medal winner 3rd and 12th International Poster Biennale, Warsaw 1970 & 1990; wunner of the special prize of the ICOGRADA (International Council of Graphic Design). He has taken part in numerous group and solo exhibtions.
