BiographyNew York City, 1942 A native New Yorker, Joseph Borg spent his adolescent years on the isle of Malta. His artistic abilities were developed through apprenticeships with fine artists and master printers. Joseph Borg's studio was filled with strains of music and parts of musical instruments to set the tone and tempo to his refined, evocative paintings, prints and collage work. Joe Borg worked in traditional etching techniques as well as the freer, more colorful monoprints. Joe Borg's work has been selected to be the only visual art found in the living quarters of Biosphere II, a life sustaining experimental habitat in Oracle, Arizona.
