Henrik Voskanian

Henrik Voskanyan was born in 1961, in Yerevan. After finishing the Secondary School he entered Technical-Fine Art College. He finished this College with Red Diploma.

In 1980 he entered the Pedagogical Institute named after Khachatur Abovyan in the faculty of paint-graphic. He graduated from the Institute in 1985. After that he began teaching art.

In 1990 he began searching his own style in the Art. Impressionists of the period of Renaissance and also Armenian miniature had a big impression at his work. After 5-6 years of hard work he discovered his own direction.

In 1990 and 1992 he took part in the Fine Art Exhibition in Istanbul and Yerevan respectively.

His works were shown in Paris (1995), Lebanon (1997), United Arab Emirates (2000), Strasbourg (2001), New York (2003) and Canada (2004).

In 2001 his works were shown in the Modern Art Center in Yerevan. Many of his works can be found in the collections of private, cultural and public organizations. Henrik Voskanian is a famous listed Artist, has international recognition all over the World and he is receiving man invitations from different galleries to exhibit his work. Many European art galleries are proud to display his works.

Many of his works were obtained by Armenian President’s cabinet to give (as a gift) to high ranking guests
