Ahmed Saeed

I was born and raised in the vibrant city of Lahore. I come from a long line of miniature painters; it is a traditional form of art that our family has practiced since the times the Sikh ruled in Punjab. I started working learned the basics of the “trade” you may call it at an early age. I have been practicing miniature art for over eleven years now. I have also worked as an art Director for a Danish company. I started working as an illustrator and have experience in that field due to my immense interest in that style of drawing. I did a diploma in miniature art from “Naqsh academy” to further hone my skills before I finally ended up in National college of Arts. I am currently a third year student in the fine arts department and majoring in miniature painting. I hope that with my work I can bring a sense of tradition and local art that we Asians have prided ourselves over for as long as anyone can remember.
