Mouna Jemal Siala

Born in 1973 in Paris, lives and works in Tunis.

Multidisciplinary artist, Mouna Jemal Siala holds a PhD in Arts and Sciences of Art from the Pantheon-Sorbonne University. Since 1998, she has been teaching fine arts at the Fine Arts Institute of Tunis. She has won several national and international awards. Since 1993, she has participated in exhibitionsand biennials in Tunisia, France (personal exhibition at the Maison Photo de Lille 2013), Germany (IFA Berlin, ZKM Karlsruhe 2013), Spain, Belgium, Algiers, Bamako, Geneva, Casablanca, Kolkata, Los Angeles, New York (FIAF 2013), and Dakar (Dak’Art 2010 and 2014).
