BiographyPainter and Engraver Born in Catania Italy in 1937. Studied at Catania Institue of Fine Arts. 1969-72 International Engraving School, Urbino, Italy. Some of his one-man shows include: Associazione Polacca Amici BBAA, Warsaw, Poland. Circolo Artistico, Bologna. Centro Incisione Alzaia Naviglio Grande, Milan. Galleria Transart, Milan. His engravings are exhibited in various museums, including Ostiglia (Mantova) and Gazzoldo degli Ippoliti (Mantova) Created two special original etching editions fo rthe New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, Newark, NJ, USA. Large decorative paintings realized in Munich, New York, Milan, Catania, Albissola, Misterbianco (Catania). Pino Finocchiaro was born in Catania and studied at the local Art Institute. Later he attended international engraving technique courses at the State Institute of Art in Urbino under the guidance of the masters Bruscaglia and Ceci. He has been an art teacher in Pescara and Milan, president of the National Association of Original Graphics, and is a member of the National Association of Italian Engravers. He has been representedpresent for years in the volumes of the Repertoire of Italian engravers published by the Prints and Drawings Department of the Municipality of Bagnacavallo. There are numerous solo exhibitions dedicated to his work in Italy (Bologna artistic circle, Misterbianco Town Hall, Milan Naviglio Grande Hailing Center, Milan Transart Gallery, Turin Quaglino Gallery, Verona Lo Scudo Gallery, Milan Sormani Library) and abroad (Polish Association of Friends of BBAA in Warsaw, OD Gallery in Munich, University of Guanajuato - Mexico).
