Student of Georgy Bogdanov Atanasov, he graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts with the diploma in the Decorative-Monumental Painting in 1954.
He has illustrated hundreds of books by Bulgarian and world authors, including "Hymns. Argonautics" by Orpheus, "Sonnets" by Shakespeare, "Don Quixote" by Cervantes ".He is the author of the book The ABC of Love, which includes 30 colorful graphics and 30 poems.
His paintings are owned by almost all our galleries and private collectors in Russia, Italy, Switzerland, Greece.
The artist received numerous honors, including the The Leipzig International Book Fair Awards in 1965 and 1971, the first prize at the National Exhibition of Illustration in 1969, and the Order of Cyril and Methodius.
