BiographyMongolian Art Today was launched shortly after an exhibition of a group of the country's leading artists. One of the artists Choindonglin Khurelbaatar was offerred a one man show for 2004 and audiences then had the chance to admire a whole body of his work and experience its full versatility.

Now we see how he has been able to develop the themes that remain his inspirations; the unique Mongolian landscape alongside his fascination with the mystery of Shamanism which remains active in the remote parts of the Steppes.

In the work that that forms Khurelbaatar's exhibitions visitors can
see that Choindonglin Khurelbaatar has firmly established himself as one of
Mongolia's finest contemporary artists.
