of youth and the wisdom behind the culture of the expressionistic Syrian professional.This same culture settles in the memory of thousands.This combination gives him a sense of excellence and sensitivity, which goes well with the memories attained from his childhood. His work reflects both the animalistic and human aspect of himself. Perhaps his most prominent features are the diversity of fabric and touch, as well as the sculpting and coloring of surfaces.Hasko speaks Arabic in the same fluency as Kurdish. He holds on to the folds of his cultural memory. His creative confidence seems far from methodology and pattern; yet. Hasko’s early beginnings

Hasko Hasko born in1973 Afreen, Syria. He graduated from the Faculty
of Fine Arts at the University of Damascus in 2000 and specialized in oil painting.
Has currently lives and works in Damascus. Now, with Syrian art fetching high
prices on the international market, life is becoming easier and artists are gaining
more respect. Before, we were considered crazy. That’s completely changing; now,
we’re becoming respected like poets and directors. Since 2002, his work has been
the highlight of many solo exhibitions and group exhibitions. Hasko has exhibited
in solo exhibition at numerous venues throughout Syria. He has also participated
in group exhibitions in Iraq, Lebanon, UAE, London and Istanbul. The themes in his
contemporary paintings focus on nature, animals, and mythical figures that are inspired
from Mesopotamian cultures. They are treated mainly in acrylic paint or mixed media,
with low-key colors and defined brushstrokes in compositional clusters.
