Stanislaw Wejman

BiographyBorn in Jedrzejow in 1944. Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow in 1968, where he is currently a professor and leads the Copperplate Studio at the Department of Graphic Arts. He has had numerous individual exhibitions and participated in many group presentations in Poland and abroad. He has been awarded several prizes. His works are included in private and public collections such as Albertina Museum in Vienna, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and National Library in Warsaw. He practices painting, drawing and graphic arts, mostly etching and linocut.
He lives in Krakow.
