BiographyHe born in 1957 in Krakow.
He studied at the Graphics Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. In 1981 he obtained a diploma in the copperplate prof. Mieczyslawa Wejmana; Painting in prof. Jana Swiderskiego. In the years 1981-1989 he worked as an assistant at his alma mater. In painting, graphics, drawing. Winner of awards and distinctions, among others, Biennial of Graphic Art in Mulhouse (1984), the International Miniature Exhibition in Toronto (1986), Graphica Atlantica in Reykjavik (1987), the Biennial of Graphic Art in Vaasa (1987), Grand Prix at the Biennial of Graphic Art in Seoul (1988), Prize. I.Trybowskiego at the International Print Triennial in Krakow (1994). Nominated for the "Polityka" Passport in 1996. In 2001 he became the winner of the Prize. Witold Wojtkiewicz granted by the Board of Krakow District Association of Polish Artists and Designers for the most interesting solo exhibition presented in Krakow (painting in the Gallery ZPAP and graphics in Cloth Jan Fejkiel Gallery) .Odznaczony Gloria Artis Bronze Medal (2016).
In 2008 he held a retrospective exhibition of paintings and graphic artist at the National Museum in Krakow.
