BiographyTheodore Diouf was born in 1949 in Djigod (Senegal). He was trained at the Dakar Craft Techniques Teaching Center (modeling and decoration), then at the Dakar National School of Arts, from 1969 to 1971 in painting, engraving and ceramics, before joining Pierre Lods and Iba Ndiaye in the "plastic research" section. Several of his models were made in tapestries by the Manufacture de arts décoratifs in Thiès.
