Bhutan, 1977
BiographyI was trained in the National Institute for Zorig Chusum for eleven years on traditional Bhutanese scroll and wall paintings. I graduated from the Institute in 2000 and enrolled as a trainee teacher. Now I have been serving as a teacher until now and have much interest in doing contemporary arts in linked to our traditional style. I had several chances to exhibit my paintings in India and in Bhuan. I am a proud artist being able to do painting in both traditional and contemporary. I enjoy as a painter and wishes to make exhibition of my products which I usually sell it to my foreigner students. My religious wall paintings of Bhutanese narrations are seven feet by Thirty feet length. But we normally commission it for our monasteries and do not exhibit it.
