BiographyAde Oyelami is a painter and textile artist, and the younger brother of well known artist Muraina Oyelami. He was trained and encouraged by both his brother and Jimoh Buraimoh. In 1980 he developed his own style and forged ahead on his own. Festival of Deity is indeed a powerful, almost puzzle-like oil painting, displaying dynamic color and excellent control of the medium.
